NATURAL
USES FOR GARLIC
Garlic
can be used for many things including
colds and flu. My husband never gets a cold or flu as if he
even thinks he is getting a cold he makes himself a salad
sandwich and slices a couple of cloves of garlic on it. He
often eats raw garlic sliced up on his meal and I believe
that is why he is so healthy and I put up with the smell of
garlic as it is better to do that than have a sick husband.
GARLIC
PREVENTS INFECTIONS
Garlic is a natural antibiotic that can fight off a great
number of bacteria and fungi. What garlic does is it stimulates
the white blood cells and battles the infection. Garlic is
a magnificent thing to keep in your home at all times. When
garlic cloves are crushed, chewed or cut it releases a compound
called allicin and this is what gives garlic its pungent taste
and smell. It is the allicin that is the wonderful ingredient
that is responsible for garlics theraputic qualities.

Garlic for many Natural Uses
Garlic is also used as an antioxidant, blood cleanser,
lowers cholestrol, lowers blood pressure, prevents and treats
diabettes, acne treatment and also as a mosquito repellent.
You can see that garlic is a great thing to have in your cupboard
and to eat fresh or in your cooking. I also use it soaked
in warm water with lemon and then drink it like a cup of tea
it really helps you ward off colds and flu. You can use garlic
raw or in tablet form and you can buy odourless garlic for
girls and women who do not want to smell like garlic. Some
people have to be careful as they can be alergic to garlic
so just start with a small amount then gradually use more
of it.
Cooking
with Garlic
You can use garlic in a lot of recipes like stews, soups,
curries, stir fries, spaghetti and then there is the garlic
bread. This is a good way if you are just starting to use
garlic is to put a small amount in your cooking.
