REMEDIES FOR ANEMIA
Anemia is one of the
most common blood disorders. Anemia occurs when the quantity
of red blood cells decreases in the body. Red blood cells
contain hemoglobin this is the red colouring matter then there
is protein composed of an organic compound called heme. The
hemoglobin helps the red blood cells carry oxygen from the
lungs to other parts of the body. The formation of hemoglobin
depends on a good diet of iron and protein. There
are many causes for anemia from heavy loss of
blood due to injury, heavy menstruation and bleeding piles.
An inadequate intake of iron, vitamins and proteins results
in low formation of red blood cells. People do not
realise how serious anemia can be but I do as my sister suffered
from it and I saw how it affected her. I would like
to share with you some natural remedies for anemia.
APPLES FOR ANEMIA - A
very simple remedy for anemia is to eat 2 to 3 apples a day
as this helps to increase the iron content to your body.
BEETS
FOR ANEMIA - The beet is very important in the cure of
anemia especially the beet juice as it contains potassium,
calsium, sulphur, iron, carbohydrates, protein, fat and vitamins
B1, B2, B6, C and P.
FIGS FOR ANEMIA - A
really good home remedy for anemia is to have 3 or 4 dried
figs a day.
LEMON
AND HONEY FOR ANEMIA - Lemon
and honey taken in the morning are very beneficial for anemia.
MASSAGING FOR ANEMIA -
This is a good home
remedy for anemia. Just massaging the body daily helps to
keep the blood level in the body high.
HERBS
FOR ANEMIA - Dong Quai, dandelion, barley greens and alfalfa
are all good herbs for anemia.
