NATURAL
REMEDIES FOR ABRASIONS
If you have ever had
children well you would know all about abrasions as children
are prone to fall over or to fall off their bikes. My children
were always coming home with abrasions on them and most times
I could not afford expensive oitments so I use whatever I
had in my garden or whatever essential oils that I had in
at the time but two things I always had in was lavender oil
and tea tree oil. The other things I used was growing in my
garden such as aloe vera, marigolds and parsley.
Lavender
Oil for Abrasions - Lavender
is one of the best oils for abrasions. Get about 5 drops of
lavender in a dropper and add it all over the affected area
and that helps in the healing of the abrasion.
Tea Tree Oil for Abrasions - Tea Tree Oil is very effective
for cleaning abrasions and healing. Just take a bowl and add
4 drops of tea tree oil and 1 cup of warm water and wash the
abrasion with this mixture 3 times a day.
Aloe Vera For Abrasions - I have a whole garden
of aloe vera growing as it is so useful for so many things
especially abrasions. It has soothing and anti inflammatory
properties and is also good for bacteria. Just take a leaf
off your aloe vera plant and cut it open and put the gel directly
on the abrasion. The aloe vera has a wonderful healing power.
Marigolds
for Abrasions -
Marigolds are wonderful to have growing as they
are great for abrasions. All you have to do is take some flowers
of the marigold and crush them then apply to the abrasion.
Parsley
Leaves for Abrasions -
Most people have a herb garden with parsley growing in it
so all you have to do is cut some leaves from the parsley
and crush them and apply to the abrasion.
Thyme
Tea For Abrasions - Make up some thyme tea and
let it cool and use it as a disinfectant for the abrasion.
