Natural Healing with Activated Charcoal.
NATURAL HEALING WITH ACTIVATED CHARCOAL

Doctors use charcoal as a healing agent such as an antidote for poisons and as an effective treatment for indigestion and for wind in the stomach. Charcoal is capable of absorbing thousands of its own weight in gasses, heavy metal, poisons and many other chemicals which makes them harmless. You can see why activated charcoal is a must to have in your kitchen cupboard and it is a natural remedy.

USE OF CHARCOAL BY MEDICAL PROFESSIONS

The medical profession uses charcoal to treat poisonings and overdoses of aspirin plus other drugs such as tylenol. They also treat diarrhea with charcoal. Charcoal is also used by some medical professionals to treat snake bites, spider and insect bites.

CHARCOAL IN HOME USES

Activated charcoal helps eliminate bad breath as it cleanses both the mouth and digestive tract. It also relieves diarrhea, indigestion and peptic ulcers. Just take 1 teaspoonful of powdered charcoal up to 3 times a day but make sure to take it between meals as food can reduce its effectiveness. Just mix the powdered charcoal in a glass of water and drink it down. If you are on prescription drugs just check with your doctor as charcoal could make your other drugs not work properly.

Charcoal Poultice for Leg Ulcers.
CHARCOAL TREATMENT FOR ULCERS, WOUNDS AND BRUISES

I know for a fact charcoal poultices works for ulcers on the leg as my husband use to get ulcers on his leg and they use to smell terrible so we started to use charcoal poultices on them and it really worked tremendously. Make a poultice by using 1 tablespoon of powdered charcoal and put it in a container and just add enough water to make a paste then spread it on a cloth big enough to fit the area to be treated. Make sure the cloth is thoroughly saturated with the paste and moist and warm as this will allow the healing to take place. Place the cloth side down over the wound then cover it with a piece of plastic wrap making sure to overlap the poultice by at least an inch over all sides then stick it down with tape. Make sure to change it every 6 hours. Never put charcoal directly on broken skin as you may end up with colouring on your skin.

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL DOSE

Activated charcoal can either be taken by 1 teaspoonful in 8 ounces of pure water 1 to 3 times a day. Some people prefer the charcoal capsules but the capsules may take longer to work as the capsule must dissolve before the charcoal will work. Activated charcoal is inexpensive, harmless and easy to use.
