NATURAL AIR FRESHENERS AND DEODORIZERS

There are many things you would already have in your cupboards to make natural air fresheners and deodorizers with such as oranges and lemons, baking soda, white bread, unscented kitty litter, vinegar, charcoal, vanilla extract and essential oils. I would just like to tell you now how to use these natural fresheners and deodorizers and these few I have mentioned here is what has been passed onto me and then I have passed them onto my children.

Spices for Air Fresheners and Deodorizer

In a pot of water place cloves, cinnamon sticks and allspice then put it on the stove and bring it to the boil then turn down and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.

Orange Rind For Air Fresheners and Deodorizer

Put a pot of water on the stove and bring to the boil then add some orange rind to it and turn down and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.

Baking Soda for Air Fresheners and Deodorizer

To make small areas such as closets and refrigerators smell odor free place some baking soda in a container without the lid and place on a shelf in these small areas.

White Bread for Deodorizer

To stop refrigerator odors place 3 slices of white bread in it as it absorbs odors.

Lemon Slices for Air Freshener

cut up lemon slices and place on a saucer in the kitchen and you will be able to have a lovely lemon odor all day in the kitchen.

Lemon and Baking Soda Air Freshener Spray

In two cups of hot water dissolve the baking soda then add lemon juice and put it into a spray bottle then spray into the air and smell the wonderful air freshener.

Unscented Kitty Litter as a Deodorizer

Place unscented kitty litter in bowls and put in the rooms to absorb any odors. This is so easy to do and who would have thought it would work.

Charcoal as a Deodorizer

I put little bowls of charcoal in the bedrooms to get rid of odors and it will not harm little fingers if they get into it accidently.

Vanilla Extract as a Air Freshener and Deodorizer

Just put some vanilla extract in a small bowl and put it in a room in an out of the way place and it leaves the room smelling really good.

Oils for Bathroom Deodorizer

Pour some of your favourite essential oils into your cardboard toilet tissue roll and everytime you roll the toilet paper off you get a wonderful smell of your essential oils.
